Ian Cloete: "The Irritable Sceptic"
I started a blog!!!
Science is absolutely amazing. A beautifully complex organism that grows and moves, that speaks and listens, that pulses to the beat of discovery and breathes the knowledge of its custodians. Science feeds on curiosity and drinks from the fountains of ambition. It stimulates and matures, creates and proliferates. It is forever stirring the cauldron of fulfilment, from which drifts the aromas of absolute enlightenment and pure truth.
My name is Ian and I love science. I am less interested in answers, but believe in asking the right questions. A sceptic philosopher that wishes he was a musician, an aspiring writer working towards a voice that vibrates opinion and resonates reason.
I run on coffee am horribly lactose intolerant, swear a fair amount and despise pandas. I am a perpetual student and learn everything I know through bursts of obsession, happier than needs be and surrounded by the most amazing people.
My contribution to the blogosphere is a personal crusade to be less memorable than the words, from curious scepticism of expert opinions to an unconventional side-door style interpretation of the facts.
Everybody loves a good rant, I’m happy to oblige…
